Celebrate Mardi Gras

Posted By: Ani Harbottle

Taking place Saturday, March 5th, the Long Beach Mardi Gras Rainbow Harbor 2011 event is taking place. Jam packed with fun for the whole family, it is a great way to experience Mardi Gras where it is traditionally not such a big holiday. Free admission is only one upside, but there is also a concert line up, kid zone, food, and of course lots and lots of crazy Mardi Gras costumes.

If dressing up crazy is too much for you, that’s fine! Adding a simple Mardi Gras necklace can get everyone in the spirit. Taking place at the Rainbow Harbor and Marina at 200 Aquarium Way in Long Beach, the event starts at 12. A great way to see a different tradition for other parts of the country, this event can open up every one’s eyes.
