Children Appreciate Reading

Posted By: Sharon Shaoulian

Today at Barnes and Noble at the Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, (1:30 pm), HB Reads will be hosting a new event as part of the 2012 HB Reads community reading program.  Their motto is “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader,” and per their mantra, the children’s event’s main goal is the promotion of literacy and a love for reading.  But that’s not all!  The event will also feature crafts and storytime focused on appreciating the differences in people.  The goal is to open the minds and hearts of children at a young age, to create a positive future.  Enjoy!
