Get Lost at Talbert Nature Preserve

Need some space? Just a short drive from Newport Beach the Talbert Nature Preserve awaits you. North of Victoria Street in Costa Mesa, where Canyon Road ends, lie acres of bluff top trails plus a lush treed, park-like area down the hill adjacent to the Santa Ana River. The area backs to Estancia High School to the east, and Adams Avenue & Mesa Verde to the north. Views are west to the ocean, Palos Verdes, and the mountains to the north. It’s a quiet, wide open expanse of paths great for walking, running, biking and playing with kids, dogs, … whatever. I was surprised to find it, and you will be too.
