Huntington State Beach

Posted By: Sharon Shaoulian

Beginning at Beach Blvd and stretching down to Brookhurst, Huntington State Beach is one of the “friendliest” beach experiences you’ll have.  There aren’t even any rocks or cliffs in sight, the sand is flat and smooth.  Lifeguards avidly watch the waters, and police often patrol the surrounding area.  It’s a really safe, calm beach.  During the summer, concession stands are open, where you’ll find:  ice cream, sodas, candy, hot dogs, sandwiches, and chips for sale.  However now, when the beach does not offer concession foods, make sure to bring your own and either have a BBQ or make sandwiches.  Enjoy!
